Services offered by Galaxy community.

  1. Climate
The community offers a comprehensive set of analysis tools and consolidated workflows for climate data. Climate data can be obtained from various sources( observations, re-analyses, and climate models )are analyzed using the Galaxy interactive tools which include: CTSM/FATES-EMERALD, Galaxy Climate JupyterLab, Panoply, etc
The result of the analysis can be used by field ecologists, environmental scientists, climate modelers, and biologists for improving terrestrial ecosystem models.
  2. Imaging
The community offers Galaxy tools to extract meaningful information from images. The Galaxy tools are used to perform the analysis tasks such as format conversion, image enhancement, segmentation, and feature extraction. Tools used for image analysis include Histogram equalization, Image Info, Image Conversion, Image Filtering.
  3. Metabolomics
The community is focused on Galaxy services for metabolomics. The galaxy services include tools for analyzing Mass spectrometry data in Galaxy Metabolomics (LCMS, FIAMS, GCMS, NMR) and imaging. Metabolomics users can discover and run metabolomics tools in the Galaxy.
  4. Computational Chemistry
The focus is on processing, modeling, simulation, and analysis of biomolecular systems. The Galaxy tools used for analysis include the Bio3D package,(RMSD, RMSF, PCF), PDB( to get data from Protein Data Bank). Training resources are available.
  5. Ecology
The community provides a platform for processing, analyzing, and visualizing ecological data. The galaxy tools used include the PAMPA tool suite, RegionalGAM, Get Ecological data, etc
  6. Epigenetics
  7. Genome Annotation
The community works on Genome annotation which involves attaching biological information to sequences. We have the structural and functional process
  8. Microbiome
Galaxy services for Microbiome to process, analyze and visualize microbiome data. Relevant materials for microbiome data analysis are available on the GTN
  9. Proteomics:
Proteomics is a large-scale study of proteins. The GALAXY-P TEAM works on the Galaxy Proteomics. the Galaxy Proteomics is a multiple-‘omics’ data-analysis platform with particular emphasis on mass spectrometry-based proteomics.
  10. Visualization
After analysis, data are can be visualized in different forms using the galaxy tools. Visualization tools include Galaxy Charts, JBrowse, Genome Browsers. Training material for data visualization are available in Galaxy
  11. Variant Analysis:
to detect evidence for genetic variants in next-generation sequencing data.
  12. Transcriptomics: Training material for all kinds of transcriptomics analysis.
